Siyanda is currently working with the CSIR’s Defence, Peace, Safety and Security unit where he is working in radar research. He has been a member of the computational electromagnetics group (CEMAGG) at the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department since 2010.
His research interests include modelling techniques such as the the method of moments (boundary element method) and the physical optics. He is currently investigating a hybridised technique to model electrically large problems with complex detail that cannot be modelled with the method of moments due to computational constraints.
